Job: Graphics Communications Designer (m/f/d) for research and transfer project (LMU)
Deadline: 12. October 2021
„Projects in the BMBF program on terrestrial, geological and material-based CDR and a parallel program on marine CDR methods aim to provide a systematic and comprehensive science basis of potentials, implementability, risks and side-effects in the Earth system of various CDR methods and pathways, and will investigate feedbacks with other Sustainable Development Goals. The CDR program aims to enhance the research capacities in Germany for CDR, strengthen the links between research and other stakeholders, and provide an adequate science basis for political decision-making in research- and climate-policy. The Graphics Communications Designer is responsible for designing layouts, illustrations and infographics for the program’s communication channels (website, newsportal and internal communications platform, social-media channels, newsletters, press releases, and other outlets for science communication). Further, the Graphics Communications Designer will work closely with the program’s Press Officer and Transfer Manager to develop target-group-specific information material (e.g., fact sheets, policy briefs, educational material) to ensure an efficient dialogue with various different stakeholder groups ranging from the general public, industry, policy to school/university education.“
