Drax invests in world’s largest carbon capture project

United Kingdom – Bioenergy with carbon capture and storage (BECCS) is a key component of Drax’s long-term energy strategy, and the company expects to invest around £40 million (€47 million) in its North Yorkshire power station in the first phase of the project in 2022.
