PhD course on the politics of ‚Net Zero‘ and carbon removal

This five-day intensive course will provide participants with a critical overview of the current net-zero debate against the backdrop of the history of climate policy and will address some of the key trends, tensions, and opportunities that characterize net-zero pathways. It mainly draws on conceptual tools in the fields of political economy, political ecology and science and technology studies.
