Wall street Journal: Scientists Get $1 Million Prize to Fight Climate Change With ‘Photosynthesis 2.0’

A team of German scientists (Max Planck Institute for Terrestrial Microbiology) want to improve on nature to create a more efficient way of removing carbon dioxide from the atmosphere. Tobias Erb, managing director of MPI, was awarded Wednesday a roughly $1 million prize for leading efforts to engineer photosynthesis enzymes. The Wall Street journal article is behind a paywall.
