Research Associate in Resources for Greenhouse Gas Removal

The Research Centre for Carbon Solutions (RCCS) (Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh) is seeking a postdoctoral research associate to work on greenhouse gas removal research. This post is part of a large consortium project to explore the feasibility of enhanced weathering. Particularly, the postholder will dissolution/weathering of artificial materials (e.g., cement, steel slag), their potential environmental benefits and/or impacts if used for enhanced weathering, and their potential to contribute to UK Net-Zero strategies. The appointment will be at Research Associate level, Grade 7, Salary: £34,308 – £35,333, fixed term opportunity for 24 months.
