This white paper presents carbon removal company Equatic’s process for removing carbon dioxide from the atmosphere by means of seawater electrolysis. It describes how CO₂ is trapped as aqueous (bi) carbonate ions or within mineral solids, how net carbon dioxide removal (CDR) is rigorously quantified and verified, and why this represents permanent storage.
