Report on the Future Regulation of Ocean-based NET

The project OCEAN-NETs aims to analyse and quantify the environmental, economic, legal, political and social feasibility of various ocean-based negative emissions technologies (ocean-based NETs). The purpose of the present report is to provide some insights into the most developed international legal frameworks that may have a bearing on the future regulation of research into, or commercial deployment of, ocean-based NETs.
