Session at OSM24: Marine Based Carbon Dioxide Removal (mCDR)- the science, engineering, ethics, social and governance needs

This session is open to all ocean scientists and early mCDR research adopters or practitioners as well as social scientists and those involved in developing and implementing ocean policies and governance frameworks. Topics will range from results from lab and field studies, to advances in monitoring, reporting and verification (MRV) platforms, sensors and models required to constrain both C budgets and ecological impacts, and ethical paths needed to move forward.
