„We examine 17 Long-Term Low Greenhouse Gas Emission Development Strategies (LT-LEDS), and discuss them in the context of available NETs feasibility assessments. Our mapping shows that most countries include NETs in their long-term strategies, and that enhancement of natural sinks is the most dominating type of NET in these strategies.“

Lockley, Andrew (2020): State commissioning of Solar Radiation Management geoengineering. In Ethics, Policy [&] Environment. DOI: 10.1080/21550085.2020.1848176.

„Notwithstanding concerns about privatisation, we assume state commissioning of SRM – proposing and analysing plausible governance, by adapting extant proposals. We consider two regulatory functions: legal/corporate; and scientific/technical. We briefly discuss mandatory, emissions-linked SRM funding.“

Phys.org: Could kelp help relieve ocean acidification?

„Ethereal, swaying pillars of brown kelp along California’s coasts grow up through the water column, culminating in a dense surface canopy of thick fronds that provide homes and refuge for numerous marine creatures. There’s speculation that these giant algae may protect coastal ecosystems by helping alleviate acidification caused by too much atmospheric carbon being absorbed by the seas.“
